- Gender discrimination is a big thing that still exists in the world.
- This is why our space of crypto and blockchain needs to start leading by example.
As a space, we have seen more members come and join the industry than ever before. These different people have seen thousands of new products and technologies being created and have even seen a big significant skyrocket for the interest of women.
Equality in 2020
Gender discrimination is a big thing that still exists in the world. It’s well known it’s still a thing within many professional industries specifically. This is why our space of crypto and blockchain needs to start leading by example and as we go into 2020, this is so important.
There is a real chance to set a trend for the world and it can start in crypto. In this industry, it is one that will ensure issues like pay gaps are reduced to nothing and that at long last, women are given the same rights to their male counterparts.
This doesn’t just stop at just male and female. These same principles apply to people of any identity which are the same.
We have seen women make a huge impact in the crypto space over this year. This comes from debates on legislation within the US securities commission to several new blockchain and crypto startups that have cropped up out of nowhere over the course of the past few years.
There’s still a long way to go though. This is just the crypto space but about the other industries across the world? Is equality there?
Well to a certain extent yes but the reality is much more daunting that we as a planet, as a species is much further behind than we should be.
Sorry for getting all philosophical on you here but it’s something that needs to be said!
