Crypto.com x FIFA

Crypto.com is going full-force ahead with its sports sponsorship and partnership deals. After partnering up with many renowned sporting organizations, teams, and events, the crypto company has now gone for the highest governing body of association football, FIFA.

FIFA’s Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Kay Madati, has mentioned that the partnership with Crypto.com will help FIFA’s goal of leading innovations in sports through digital solutions. He said,

“Crypto.com has already demonstrated a commitment to supporting top-tier teams and leagues, major events, and iconic venues across the world. And there is no platform bigger, or with a greater reach and cultural impact, than FIFA’s global platform of football.”

The sponsorship deal will feature Crypto.com advertisements on the tournament stadiums as well as outside the football grounds. This prominent sponsorship will display Crypto.com to billions of FIFA World Cup viewers worldwide, in corners of multiple international markets.

Crypto.com Co-founder and CEO Kris Marszalek commented,

“Through our partnership with FIFA, we will continue to use our platform in innovative ways so that Crypto.com can power the future of world-class sports and fan experiences around the world.”

Crypto.com’s Sports Deals

Crypto.com has been actively building working relationships in sports, esports, online gaming communities. Since its establishment in 2016, the company had already built up an impressive roster consisting of prominent names. However, over the course of last year, it has truly established itself as the leading crypto name in the sports and gaming industry. Going back to September 2021, Crypto.com partnered up with French football team Paris St Germain in a multi-year sponsorship deal. The deal included the launch of an NFT collection from the football team and Crypto.com brand visibility on the stadium and other sponsorship spaces.

Other than football, the company has signed the largest ever sponsorship deal with UFC to launch the latter’s NFT collections on its new NFT platform. Becoming the title sponsor for F1 Miami Grand Prix and signing a $25 million sponsorship deal with the Australian Football League are both noteworthy achievements made by the company in the early months of 2022. However, the collaboration with NBA legend LeBron James for an NFT drop and renaming the formerly known Staples Center in LA to the “Crypto.com Arena” have really been the most noteworthy achievements of Crypto.com
