The well-known Wall Street investor and billionaire, Paul Tudor Jones made his initial investment in the leading cryptocurrency earlier this year in May and has recently said that he likes bitcoin even more than he did then.
The fact that a 66-year-old has shown a keen interest in a nascent industry such as crypto is very exciting and important for crypto adoption.
Taking part on the squawk box morning show on CNBC in America, Jones revealed that he holds a “small single digit investment“ in bitcoin.
But his outlook on the future is that bitcoin is an excellent hedge against inflation and duty central-bank intervention, this is expected to increase over the next few years.
The legendary investor went on to say that bitcoin is one of the “best inflation trades“. Especially when compared to traditional assets such as gold, copper and other complex strategies.
Excitingly, he even made a comparison to Google or Apple, saying:
“Bitcoin has this enormous contingence of really, really smart and sophisticated people who believe in it… It’s like investing with Steve Jobs and Apple or investing in Google early.”
