The US Representative for Minnesota is well known for being pro Cryptocurrency and decentralisation. Speaking in an interview with the Morgan Creek digital co-founder, Anthony Pompliano, Tom said:
“Bitcoin, blockchain, it’s not going away, it’s going to continue to become more and more important and it’s going to advance. You just watch. It has value and when something has value people are going to take more risks and it’s going to advance.”
The congressman acknowledged that the government is aware of the dire situation that Fiat currency is in right now due to the COVID-19 crisis. As he said, the problem with a centralised government is being shown to us in the world we are in today. He further added:
