As many people know, bitcoin is the biggest Cryptocurrency in the market and for at least the next few years, it will continue to be so. Since bitcoin came into existence, the world of Cryptocurrency has changed like no other. There are more than 5000 alternative currencies now that have been created and released into the world and they all claim to bring something new to the table.

Many of these alternative currencies are still very much alive within the space despite the turmoil that has been experienced over the past few years since bitcoin hit $20,000 in 2017. Many people are wondering if anything will ever replace bitcoin as the number one Cryptocurrency.

But the dominance that bitcoin has as well as the influence that it has over the rest of the market is surely too powerful for anything to overtake it…

Alternative cryptocurrencies are getting created and released all the time within the industry and some predictions and even some of these currencies in the same area as bitcoin. There is no currency that could ever achieve what bitcoin has, you can’t sit back and ignore the fact that the crypto industry is as unpredictable as it is volatile.

Many alternative currencies are putting up a pretty strong performance and could see their value rise as a result of this. Especially in the next few years. Even though it doesn’t seem likely, surpassing bitcoin is possible but unfortunately for many creators of Cryptocurrency out there, it seems that Ethereum is the only currency with any potential to do so.

As it is the second biggest currency in the market developed based on universality, agility and simplicity, the block chain for the project is built with a fully fledged Turing complete programming language that can be used to create contracts.

It will be interesting to see how this situation plays out. For more news on this and other crypto updates, keep it with CryptoDaily!
