During the second quarter of 2020, the leading cryptocurrency has been performing relatively well. During this time, bitcoin gained 50% even though it was unable to consistently stay above the $10,000 key resistance level. 

As we go into the third quarter of this year, many experts throughout the industry are making predictions on a potential correction and the possibility of less impressive performances from the leading cryptocurrencies.

Historically, Bitcoin doesn’t seem to perform exceptionally well in the third quarter of many years but this isn’t true across all the board since 2013. An analysis suggests that 2020 probably won’t be the exception as the 60 day moving average for bitcoin has not significantly improved, nor has the transaction volume should any increase over the last couple of days.

Throughout this year, the world of cryptocurrency and mini digital assets and I’ll be in the best of places. With the pandemic brought on through COVID-19 having somewhat of an impact on the world of crypto and blockchain, the volatility is higher than ever. But that being said, there seems to be a turnaround as some of the top coins in the industry are trading sideways on the day.
