With the introduction of Ethereum 2.0 getting closer and closer by the day, the creator of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin has said that scalability will not be a threat to its success. This comes despite scalability often being one of the first problems brought up when it comes to blockchain adoption.

Taking to Twitter earlier this week, the co-founder said the following:

According to the explanation from the co-founder, the scaling of the network will be a slow effective process. After the initial transition two Ethereum 2.0, the network will see an instant improvement to somewhere between 2000 and 3000 transactions per second. Over the years, Ethereum has been massively criticised by the community due to how slow the transactions are and haven’t bloated the network is.

Even though scalability is an important factor as the launch of the next update looms closer, it isn’t the only anticipated feature by the community. Staking is the main feature for many enthusiasts and has been long-awaited by the community.

It will be interesting to see how this situation plays out. For more news on this and other crypto updates, keep it with CryptoDaily!
