Following the death of George Floyd at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer, the black lives matter movement took on a movement that we may never see again. However, that being said it is very important to keep this movement going as it is sparking justice in the United States as well as in other parts of the world.

The cryptocurrency world was not far behind the support of this movement as many big figures within the industry showed their strong support for the protesters in the black lives matter movement.

Even though many people within the industry have been sure and support for this movement, how could bitcoin itself help socio-economic issues such as what is going on today?

It’s hard to say what kind of role bitcoin will play in the future of revolutionary movements such as the BLM movement. Whether it’s a vital one or a small one, Any support is needed during times like these.
