Ever since the coronavirus started spreading at a significant rate all across the world, markets and the economy, in general, have gone into a crisis. This crisis seems to only be getting started as well but in all the turmoil, different generations are starting to realise the true value of cryptocurrency. Specifically, bitcoin.

A tweet from the International bestselling author, Robert Kiyosaki, has been taking to Twitter to promote bitcoin this week.

It brought up an interesting topic with the tweets going viral throughout the crypto community. Many people pointed out how different generations could respond to the current crisis. One user on Twitter even said that the generation Z or Y could start investing in crypto and keep it saved for their retirement.

The editor of in bitcoin we trust, Sylvain Saurel agrees that both generations Y and Z are the most likely people to have positive opinions on cryptocurrency such as bitcoin. Saurel believes that the Z generation is more likely to view payments made through smartphones the norm. 

He further wrote:

“Those who will be curious to find out what the current monetary and financial system was like will be shocked.They will wonder how previous generations were able to accept the fact that a few people systematically decided to devalue what the majority of people owned.”
