TRON CEO’s Twitter Sarcasm Directed At Buterin & ETH

The founder and CEO of TRON, Justin Sun is well known in the cryptocurrency community. He is almost always active through his official Twitter page to keep TRON enthusiasts satisfied and up to date with what’s happening with the project.

Sun also likes to fuel debates between TRON and other cryptocurrencies. In the past, Sun has been known to make a few digs at crypto teams like the Ethereum Foundation.

In throwing some shade at Ethereum and its co-founder Vitalik Buterin, Sun asserted that if TRON finally succeeds, the firm would be happy to put up a statue for Vitalik Buterin and Ethereum in remembrance of his massive contribution to the crypto community. I mean it’s pretty obvious but clearly, Sun is being very sarcastic towards Ethereum and Buterin and when you consider that he always argued that TRON will one day take over Ethereum, this becomes even more obvious.

On the same thread, some enthusiasts and influential figures in the industry were quick to speak their mind including the co-founder of IAmDecentralised, Misa Lederman. He quoted Buterin as saying that he would be really disappointed in humanity if TRON ever beats Ethereum. He then goes on to offer his own thoughts on the topic saying that it is a matter of when, not if, TRON will beat overtake Etheruem.

Across the crypto world, the sarcastic comment by Sun garnered a lot of attention. Some people have said that the tweet was in bad taste saying that he should focus more on building the TRON empire rather than attacking other people and their own projects.

Others took a different approach and actually agreed with him saying that Ethereum will one day bow down to TRON.
