Eminem has joined the Bored Ape Party and has spent a lot of money while doing it, with fans on Twitter noticing that he had changed his avatar on the website to a Bored Ape NFT. Eminem had opened his OpenSea account barely a week ago but has already amassed a number of NFTs.

The user from whom the artist purchased the NFT “GeeGazza” was understandably ecstatic, tweeting,
“I’m living in a simulation. “Thank you, @Eminem, for buying my ape and joining the club! Madness. Let me write a lyric in your next single.”
The user had posted about the NFT in November, believing that it resembled Eminem and that the hip-hop icon was destined to purchase the NFT from him.
Letting His Avatar Do The Talking
While Eminem has not publicly spoken about his purchase of the Bored Ape, he has gone ahead and changed his avatar on Twitter and Instagram, making it very clear that he was behind the purchase.
Eminem joins a number of high-profile individuals in the Bored Ape Yacht Club, joining others such as Post Malone, Jimmy Fallon, and NBA Superstar Stephen Curry, who purchased a Bored Ape for $180,000 recently.

Eminem’s NFT Auction

The sale had taken place on Nifty Gateway and consisted of 50 editions of “Tools of The Trade” and Still D.G.A.F, priced at $5000 dollars. These were almost instantly sold out. The last NFT in the drop was a limited edition single copy titled Stans Revenge.
