More than $100,000 has been donated in cryptocurrency to the well-known alt-right activist, Stefan Molyneux. This came after his YouTube channel was removed for formenting violence and hatred.

After posting a video to his Twitter account earlier this week on the 29th of June, Molyneux announced the news that he was banned from YouTube and he issued a request for donations in cryptocurrency through his website.

Earlier this year, the white supremacist made a similar request for crypto donations when YouTube revoked his channels YouTube Partner program. It was an action that prevented him from earning any money on the platform for his videos. In response to the ban, a spokesperson for YouTube said that they have strict policies in prohibiting hate speech on the platform and will terminate any channel that violates his policies on a repeated basis.

Over the past month, there have been many people from the far right that have been removed for promoting hate speech on YouTube.

Along with space is a man called Richard Spencer who is the former leader of the racist and violent group known as the KKK. These are the kind of people that give bitcoin and cryptocurrency a bad name as Spencer is famous for calling the leading of cryptocurrency, the currency of the alt right.

With these people losing their channels on YouTube, the platform is a safer and better place for it.
