You’ve all heard of the Winklevoss brothers by now. They are well known for being bitcoin billionaires and one of the first in the industry to make their millions (or should I say billions) in the leading cryptocurrency.

If you don’t know them from the world of bitcoin, you may have watched the film The Social Network which deals deep into the origins of Facebook and how Mark Zuckerberg and the two brothers got involved in a lawsuit when the social media site took off throughout the world.

According to a production company owned by former Warner Brothers President Greg Silverman, stampede ventures has teamed up with Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss in order to produce a movie featuring their story as portrayed in the bestselling book, bitcoin billionaires.

According to the report, Silverman will be co-producing the movie along with Jon Berg who is well known for his work in superhero films such as Aquaman and Wonder Woman - some of the best films to come out of the DC cinematic universe.

The former president of Warner Brothers has said he came up with the idea for making a film based on the twins after he finished reading the book it is based on written by Ben Mezrich. He further said:

“Upon finishing it, it was clear to both of us that Cameron and Tyler’s remarkable redemption story, coupled with Ben’s masterful writing, would lend itself to a one of a kind movie.”

Silverman further said that the film will be Rocky II meets Wall Street in a world filled up with unique and mesmerising characters.
