ETH 2.0 is highly anticipated throughout the cryptocurrency space and specifically the ETH community. The update is getting closer and closer with every day as the industry is giving up to stake ETH. This kind of service of staking is getting more and more popular by the day as more users become more familiar with proof of stake protocols and as people realise that they can possibly accrue income through this service.
One of the biggest companies at the front of the staking service is ConsenSys. Their goal is to end up handling funds by their clients in order to maximise their returns and make the process as safe as possible. Tim Lowe, the head of the Codefi staking program for the company was at the community is very much anticipating the arrival of ETH 2.0 as well as its staking feature. Tim further has said that the following on the topic:
“I think anybody who is holding any crypto assets and is aware of Ethereum generally is starting to look at Eth 2.0 and staking. It’s still early but the interest is there across the board.”
On top of this, Tim acknowledged that it is more than just individual crypto holders that will want to get involved within this process. He further says:
“We have also been talking to some of the newer banks, the kind of challenger banks in the space, and they are definitely interested.”
