Ripple: Co-founder Chris Larson fully recovers from coronavirus
  • Chris Larson, has made a full recovery from COVID-19.
  • He posted a tweet earlier this week thanking those that were working on the front line against this invisible killer.

Chris Larson, the co-founder and executive chairman of the San Francisco-based blockchain company ripple, has made a full recovery from COVID-19. He posted a tweet earlier this week on the 2nd of April thanking those that were working on the front line against this invisible killer. On top of this, the co-founder also called for recovered patients to donate blood for use in antibody transplant.

The co-founder had not previously shared the fact that he had been diagnosed with the disease and only found out through the tweet he posted saying that he had made a full recovery.

You can see the tweet below:

The coronavirus is spreading throughout the world at an alarming rate. It is unlike anything the world has seen before with infection rates rising every day and the death toll continuing to go up as well.

For the co-founder, despite his recent recovery from the illness he has taken to social media to encourage those to donate blood if they themselves are recovered victims from the virus.

This works because their blood contains antibodies. With a blood transfusion, extremely ill patients will be able to fight off the virus before they even start producing antibodies of their own, in theory.
