At the start of this week and earlier today, the operator for the platform, HDR global trading launched a dedicated response from and to COVID-19 and further announced its contribution of more than $2.5 million in grants to 4 recipients.

The company has said that as a financial technology firm, the best way for it to contribute to the international efforts against the virus is through directed funds on a strategic level that will help fill in the gaps in the response and help empower the underfunded organisations helping against the situation.

As the world goes into economic and health turmoil, people all around the world are doing their bit to pitch in and help where they can.
