Is Justin Sun Censoring the Hive Hard Fork on Steemit?
  • Justin Sun has come under a lot of scrutiny recently for censoring posts on the platform which were related to the community-driven ‘Hive’ hard fork.

Looking at one of the most recent developments with Steemit and Justin Sun sees a lot of controversy at the centre. Sun has come under a lot of scrutiny recently for censoring posts on the platform which were related to the community-driven ‘Hive’ hard fork.

Earlier this week on the 19th of March, one crypto figure Girl Gone tweeted a clip that said the March 20th fork had been removed from the Steemit platform.

The influencer said the following:

“I made a really neutral explainer video just kind of walking through the announcement, and what’s happening, and what people can expect, and that post was just removed from Steemit.com. What’s really ironic about this is that centralization issues and censorship concerns are exactly why the Steem community is forking the chain and moving to Hive.”

Announced on the 18th of March, the hard fork sparked a lot of excitement in many enthusiasts of the project. However, Justin Sun experienced a significant amount of backlash due to his attempts to dominate the network.

Earlier this year on the 14th of February, the CEO of Tron bought out Steemit. He acquired around 20% of the total supply of STEEM tokens as he did this.

It will be interesting to see how this situation plays out. For more news on this, the TRX Price and other crypto updates, keep it with CryptoDaily!
