Just after the United Kingdom put its country on lockdown, it’s looking like the United States is going to be the next country to self isolate itself from the coronavirus. Many public health experts are in awe of the president's pledge to get the country opened up and ready to go by Easter.

Easter is just under a month away and despite the advice from the world health organisation and other healthcare experts, the president tweeted earlier this week on the 24th of March saying:

“Our people want to return to work. They will practice Social Distancing and all else, and Seniors will be watched over protectively & lovingly. We can do two things together. THE CURE CANNOT BE WORSE (by far) THAN THE PROBLEM! Congress MUST ACT NOW. We will come back strong!”

Many people on Twitter responded to the tweet from the 45th president of the United States with significant shock and worry. Some people even said that the president is more concerned about economic well-being than the public health.

The founder and CEO of Cardano, Charles Hoskinson doesn’t seem to be taking the commitment from the president at face value. In a tweet he published on the same day, he said the following:

“Here is my prediction. I could be totally wrong but I think Trump is actually going to shut down the country with a full quarantine at the end of his 15 day guidelines next week. The speculation about reopening is to prevent people from panicking or relocating.”

It will be interesting to see how this situation plays out. For more news on this and other crypto updates, keep it with CryptoDaily!
