Slovenian Burger King Adopts Bitcoin Cash For Payments

Cryptocurrency is finally being adopted by a Burger King restaurant! Bitcoin Cash is the cryptocurrency in question and was adopted by a restaurant in Slovenia, making it the first crypto to be useable in physical Burger King stores.

A video posted at the end of last week shows two users paying for their food using Bitcoin Cash from their wallets on their smartphones.

Cryptocurrency in Slovenia has become very popular over the past few years. There are more than 300 shops and merchants in the nation now supporting BCH as a payment method.

The crypto efforts in the country have been increased thanks to GoCrypto, a company that specialises in providing merchants with the right tools to accept the crypto payments.  

As one of the potential reasons for BCH being adopted by Burger King, Bitcoin.com previously invested $4 million in Eligma/GoCrypto.
