The former head and figure of Bitcoin.com Roger Ver recently went on CNBC’s “Power Lunch” segment where he discussed the recent drop of the leading cryptocurrency as well as the rest of the market.

Being quite bullish on the matter, Ver cited the stock market saying in that wise investors should “be greedy when others are fearful, and fearful when others are greedy.” this seems to have been in reference to the sentiment that the leading cryptocurrency could eventually collapse to $1k.

Ver went on to push forth Bitcoin Cash, saying the following:

“The real interesting one is Bitcoin Cash. I think it has the ability to go up a thousand times where it is currently because it’s looking to become peer to peer electronic cash for the entire world.”

Ver went onto remark that he believes Bitcoin Cash to hold the capacity to skyrocket by 1

1,000 times (yes, you read that right), of what it is, which would end up resulting in the asset’s market cap hitting somewhere near the $4 trillion mark.

The prominent industry executive and long-time Bitcoin innovator, Dan Held wrote the following in a response to the CNBC segment saying:

“Hey @JoeSquawk (Joe Kernen, a fan of Bitcoin that hosts CNBC shows on occasion), whats up with this reporting on bcash by CNBC? Roger is saying factually incorrect information about adoption and identity.”

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. For more news on this and other crypto updates, keep it with CryptoDaily!
