Pomp Schools Schiff on BTC Being Up More on the Year Compared to Gold

The flagship cryptocurrency’s shock drop this past few weeks has not gone unnoticed for one of gold’s biggest supporters.

Peter Schiff, the well-known goldbug and BTC naysayer will never pass up a good opportunity to give his two cents to bitcoiners.

People like Anthony Pompliano of Morgan Creek Digital and the like are big time “hodlers” of cryptocurrency. So when speculators ask when Pomp will be dragged out of the bear market, his only response is typically, “Impossible.”

Pomp has reason to be a bullish figure of the crypto space though. Earlier this year, the businessman said that he had placed half of his net worth into bitcoin.

Schiff was one of the many people who slammed him for doing so. In October, he indicated that the flagship cryptocurrency is nothing more than a pump and dump scheme designed for whales to offload their luggage.

Earlier this week though, Pomp schooled Schiff on Twitter saying:
