Prince Charles Gives Royal Approval on BTC: “It’s A Very Interesting Development”

One Twitter user posted a video of them asking Prince Charles, the heir to the British throne, what he thought of Bitcoin and blockchain yesterday.

After he gathered his thoughts on what the question actually was, he said: “oh yes, it’s a very interesting development.”

The Twitter user goes under the handle @Coindorado and he caught him whilst in Berlin where he is currently on a royal visit whilst his son, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle (Duchess of Sussex) just gave birth to their son.

When the word ‘blockchain’ was mentioned, the Prince of Wales finally understood what the user was on about, when “Coindorado mentioned Bitcoin.

At the time of writing, the tweet has more than 2,000 likes and had more than 500 retweets.

Another user, under the handle TenaciousDragon, decided to embed this tweet into the blockchain, forever:

The user uploaded the tweet and its URL to Dragonchain, which is a web app that claims to timestamp tweets to blockchains like Ethereum.
