Glif’s 75 Million Points Rewards Program for Filecoin Users

Glif, a prominent Filecoin liquid staking service, has already unveiled its rewards program to prepare for its launch into the market. The goal is to separate the process of making protocols into many fragments, with both Filecoin storage providers (SPs) and liquidity providers (LPs) able to earn reputation points. 

The Glif feature allows both current and future SPs and LPs to derive some reward, as Glif has assigned 75 million points for their input. Glif has more than $372 million, which has been linked to total value lock per Filfox statistics. The program for points implies that there is a huge milestone for the application.

From the start of March 30, 2023, historical points issuing was completed at the same time as the launch of the crypto platform. The distribution process then starts on Mar 28 and goes on till 26 Sept. The process is done every two weeks on average.

Glif intends to convert points to its native token at a 1:1. Their first batch, titled ‘A Walk Under the Moon,’ will be out this summer. The roadmap will also dedicate the next step to launching a questing program, allowing the users to increase rewards.
