Zonda, one of the largest crypto in Europe, Expands to Denmark

• Estonia-based exchange, Zonda expands to Denmark. 
• This makes it one of the largest crypto exchanges in eastern and central Europe.
• The exchange plans to expand further to UK and Switzerland.

One of the largest crypto exchanges in Eastern and Central Europe, Zonda, announced its expansion to Denmark this Wednesday. The exchange continues its global expansion across the European market making inroads in the Danish market. 

Speaking on the new market, CTO of Zonda, Jakob Lundqvist, said the new offices will help the team “work more closely with our skilled team members”, especially in times that the world has moved to work remotely. 

 “Our modern, fully-equipped office provides the perfect location to focus on advancing Zonda’s technological aspirations and developing the tools needed to compete on the world stage,” Jakob added. 

The exchange, centred in the Eastern European market, is continuing to make inroads across the continent with the move into Copenhagen following its expansion in Eastern and Central Europe. The latest expansion move aims to push Zonda’s mission and ambitions to become synonymous with crypto in Northern Europe, with a view to expanding across the globe. The Danish offices will support a team of developers, working with Jakob Lundqvist to build out Zonda’s technical capabilities.

The opening of the Copenhagen offices follows several other key expansion efforts from Zonda, including a recent move into the Italian market and regulatory approval to operate in Canada. 

Launched in 2014, Zonda offers its customers a digital asset investment platform around Europe, with a sublime growth rate with over 1 million users. Users on the platform can exchange over 60+ crypto tokens and coins in pairs with fiat currencies including EUR, USD, GBP and PLN, stablecoins (USDT and USDC), BTC and ETH. The exchange’s mission is to democratize cryptocurrency trading for its users via developing simple intuitive tools, education programmes, and regulatory frameworks that help the users trade the market more efficiently. 

As one of the most well-regulated exchanges in Europe, Zonda aims to be one of the most technologically and efficient crypto exchanges across Europe, offering a seamless trading centre for its users. The exchange’s ecosystem will offer Danish customers trading features for both individual and institutional clients, a ZondaPay app for retailers, and Zonda Academy for training purposes. 

Adding to the expansion to Denmark, Zonda will also introduce new developments with a focus on security and customer safety, with the team operating out of the Danish offices, aiming to deliver the best user experience and push towards its goals and visions. 

Finally, Zonda will is also working on procuring additional licenses to operate in the UK and Switzerland.
