LaLiga has just announced a multi-year partnership with Divi, making it the official crypto wallet for Southeast Asia, MENA, and China. This is a first for a football league and will also help significantly raise Divi’s profile, granting it exposure to over a billion people. 

The deal is set to run for an initial period of three and a half years. 

Accessibility And Ease Of Use 

One of the primary regions why LaLiga selected DDivi is because of its ease of use, accessibility, social inclusion, and education. The partnership between LaLiga and Divi acknowledges crypto’s growing importance in the lives of people and its burgeoning popularity amongst football fans. 

Experts were quick to point out that the regions covered by the deal are emerging crypto centers. Research conducted by LaLiga also shows that these areas are also where cryptocurrency is seeing a significant surge in popularity among fans.

Data has shown that 6 out of 10 investors in the MENA region are also followers of LaLIGA and Football. Speaking about the partnership with Divi, Executive Director at LaLiga, Oscar Mayo stated,

LaLiga’s partnership with Divi will focus on brand activation, which will be achieved through a comprehensive schedule of different activities. The partnership will focus on creating unique content and player-driven experiences designed to educate fans about crypto. The partnership will also leverage platforms such as television, experimental events, and CSR initiatives to help build awareness and solve challenges faced by the local community through crypto.
