Gaming and metaverse projects will be the tip of the spear in this crypto bull market

Bitcoin and the vast majority of the altcoin space took a fair dip recently. However, gaming and metaverse niches are holding strong. Maybe not such a surprise given the amount of hype and expectation many have for the sector.

The whole crypto market has seen a bit of a tumble over the last few days, probably just reflecting the impact on all markets of a new variant of some disease or other. Now that most people are starting to see the ‘same old’ media hype being replayed in pretty much the same sort of way, markets are recovering, and gaming/metaverse plays are continuing to blaze their trail into the future.

Crypto Daily has total belief in the future of metaverse and gaming, and will be covering this sector more thoroughly from now on. In this article I’m going to be showcasing some of the really strong gaming plays and the infrastructure around them.

Holding its ground nicely on the gaming infrastructure side of things we have Ultra (UOS). It’s also consolidating after a 415% surge since the end of september. Ultra has many feathers to its bow, but one of the main ones is that it will allow gamers to have total ownership of their games and sell them on if they so wish, unlike the situation with Steam. Look to see Ultra supplant this gaming platform giant in the next 2 or 3 years.

Phantasma (SOUL) is another infrastructure play. A layer 1 blockchain built for smart NFTs. This project will allow gamers to level up their in-game weapons for example, enabling them to also trade these assets at will.

First of the gaming projects is Cryowar. After its small ‘sell the news’ dip after its recent Kucoin listing we now see CWAR in a nice little accumulation sideways action. This is a “League of Legends” style mobile game built on the Solana blockchain.

Thetan Arena (THG) launched last week and had a mighty ‘sell the news’ dip. It went from a $22 high at the launch, down to $10.75 over the three days of the market correction. However, now it has just touched $20 again, providing the potential for Thetan Arena to perhaps challenge the likes of Axie Infinity at some future point. The game can be played on Apple, Android and PC.

Kart Racing League (KRL) is the Mario Kart of the crypto/blockchain gaming arena. A 650% price hike over the last 4 days makes it one of the highest performing gaming assets of the moment. Once the play-to-earn aspect of the project comes into being, many more players will be attracted to participate in the Kart Racing League economy.

Look out for more gaming/metaverse articles from Crypto Daily as this sector is projected to provide the tip of the spear for the entire crypto bull market over the next few months.
