Animoca Signs NASCAR Driver Joey Logano As The New REVV Motorsport Brand Ambassador

Logano’s new contract with Animoca Brands will see the professional NASCAR racer don the REVV-branded driver suit to promote REVV Motorsports and their NFTs. 

Animoca’s New Brand Ambassador Hire

As the new face of REVV Motorsports, NASCAR champion Joey Logano will represent and promote all entities under the brand’s ecosystem. This includes the blockchain games F1 Delta Time, MotoGP Ignition, and upcoming titles Formula E: High Voltage and an original REVV racing game. The promotional activities will include conducting media meet-and-greet sessions, performing virtual live streams, providing autographed products, and featuring in videos in the REVV-branded driver suit and car.

Additionally, the company is also planning to create and release special NFTs based on Logano, which will feature his driver helmet and logo, iconic racing moments, and special car liveries. 

Logano Ready To ‘REVV’ It Up 

Logano, who is the youngest winner of the NASCAR Cup, talked about implementing technology to create new and engaging ways to interact with fans. 

Logano tweeted, 

“Really excited to be partnering with Animoca Brands and joining the REVV Motorsport team. Entering the blockchain space and representing a global industry-leading company like Animoca Brands is important to me for many reasons. We’ve got some big plans together and I’m ready to help the REVV team expand its capabilities in digital gaming and collectibles for motorsport fans around the world.”

Token Behind Play-To-Earn Gaming Economy

REVV is the primary utility token and in-game currency of the branded motorsports games produced by Animoca Brands, all collectively falling under the REVV Motorsports brand umbrella. These games will feature two main play experiences - collecting and competitive racing. The games in the REVV Motorsport ecosystem include F1 Delta Time, MotoGP Ignition, and upcoming titles Formula E: High Voltage and an original REVV racing game. Following Logano’s announcement tweet, the official REVV Motorsports Twitter handle responded,

As players begin to expect more from their video games, they are leaning more towards gaming platforms that would let them experience actual ownership of the assets they accrue within a game. The token is designed to enable digital buying and selling of game components and can connect the digital aspects of the game with the value of true ownership. 

With Logano as the brand ambassador, the company can cash in on his popularity and further achieve its goal of bringing genuine real-life experiences to virtual platforms.
