The UFC has recently announced a long-term partnership with Crypto.com. This marks the first cryptocurrency platform official partnership that the Ultimate Fighting Championship has entered into.
Aside from being the first crypto platform to partner with the UFC, Crypto.com will be the UFC’s official ‘fight kit’ partner, which means the Crypto.com logo will be visible on the athletes' clothing. The value of the contract is reportedly one of the most lucrative deals that the UFC has ever received, according to ESPN sources.
UFC President Dana White commented on the partnership
"This is a partnership between two companies that are the best at what they do," UFC president Dana White said in a news release. "No company has done more to grow the popularity of combat sports than UFC, and now we're one of the biggest sports brands on the planet. We can help Crypto.com reach more people around the world through the strength of our brand."
To highlight the significance of this global deal, the UFC’s last partnership was with Reebok, which places Crypto.com in the same playing field as the multi-million sports brand.
Aside from their latest UFC partnership, Crypto.com recently entered into a partnership with Formula 1, becoming the Official Cryptocurrency Sponsor and NFT Partner of F1.
A statement was provided by F1 which said the following:
"In addition to building the world’s fastest growing crypto platform and the leading app in both the App Store and Google Play, the Crypto.com Visa Card is the world’s most popular crypto card available in 30+ countries world-wide. Partnering with Formula 1 will ensure Crypto.com continue to grow their brand awareness on an international stage.
Crypto.com’s intention to grow their brand into a recognised global name is evident by their recent partnerships, enabling them to engage with some of the biggest fanbases in the world and build an audience of non-crypto natives.
