The parent company of Plasm Network and Shiden Network, Stake Technologies, has announced that it is partnering up with the largest NFT content creator in Japan, doublejump.tokyo, to expand the Plasm and Shiden ecosystem through NFTs.
Partnership To Introduce NFT Into Blockchain Games
Japan’s intense gaming and animation culture is fertile ground for the growth of NFT-based experiences. doublejump.tokyo’s track record in the NFT space includes partnerships with significant IP and game companies. On the other hand, Plasm Network has already developed blockchain games that are the first in the world in terms of DAU and transaction volume. Thanks to the partnership with doublejump.tokyo, Plasm will now be able to deliver high-quality NFT content.
doublejump.tokyo Plans To Enter Polkadot And Kusama Ecosystems
Polkadot and Kusama projects focus on interoperability, through a parachain that offers smart contract functionality to support NFTs. The Plasm Network is a parachain candidate for Polkadot. Plasm’s partnership with doublejump.tokyo could enable the latter to enter the Polkadot ecosystem with low learning cost. Similarly, the Shiden Network is a parachain candidate for Kusama, and could enable doublejump.tokyo’s entry into the Kusama ecosystem.
Once Shiden Network acquires the Kusama Parachain slot, gaming projects operated by doublejump.tokyo will be able to use Shiden Network.
Partnership To Scale Up Sustainability And Expansion Efforts
The partnership is also likely to see a more carbon-neutral or even carbon-negative future, as Plasm is working with data centers that only use renewable energy sources. doublejump.tokyo is committed to reducing dependency on Proof of Work (PoW), which is highlighted by this partnership, as Plasm uses a Nominated Proof of Stake (NPoS), which is much more sustainable than PoW.
Thanks to the scaling solutions and cross-chain bridges provided by Plasm, doublejump.tokyo will be able to scale up its UX improvement and accelerate its multi-chain adoption.
Additionally, because of Plasm’s dApps Reward mechanism, when dApp nominators stake native tokens (PLM or SDN) in doublejump.tokyo’s smart contracts, both doublejump.tokyo and the nominators will receive a portion of the block award.
