- As Bitcoin increases in value, more people are talking about it on Twitter.
Data analytics from Twitter have indicated that with Bitcoin continuing to spike in price to the $30,000 key resistance level, interest on social media for the leading coin is also increasing.
The TIE cryptocurrency data company sent out a tweet over the weekend that showed the number of unique Twitter handles that have been tweeting about bitcoin as it hits a new all-time high. It surpassed the previous number of 64,000 which was seen in the 2017 Bull run.

The chief executive officer of the TIE, Joshua Frank has suggested that the interest is only going to keep on growing and that it is not limited to just Bitcoin.
The CEO has said that the number of unique Twitter accounts that have been talking about Bitcoin has risen to more than 70,000 for the first time in history.
But the increased volume of people talking about the world of crypto isn’t just happening on Twitter. On Google, search terms such as “how to buy bitcoin“ is becoming more and more popular as the coin continues to spike in the price.
