Is Bitcoin worthless? Well according to one of the most popular and prominent figures in the cryptocurrency industry, John McAfee, the leading coin is practically worthless.
He took to Twitter at the end of last week responding to one of his followers saying that the king coin is worthless. This came after the user in question claimed that people only follow John because of his bitcoin, so-called ‘enthusiasm’.
This all came after the well-known computer programmer to talk about the social network itself, Twitter.
He said the following on the 4th of April:
Twitter has 330 million users.— John McAfee (@officialmcafee) April 4, 2020
Number 3 of the top Social Media platforms.
Who is on Twitter?:
And every political leader of the World ...
And me ...
It is the only Social media platform
Worthy of use.
If you doubt:
Check the stats ...@jack
In responding to the user claiming people only follow McAfee for his bitcoin ramblings, he said the following:
I have no clue— John McAfee (@officialmcafee) April 4, 2020
Bitcoin is worthless.
This might be confusing to me as John was once seen as a lover of bitcoin and most likely had some locked away in his Crypto Portfolio, but seems to have had a change of heart in 2020.
