‘Bitcoin’ Uttered by Elon Musk in Teasing Post on Twitter

This morning I took to Twitter for my standard morning browse of what’s going on in the world to come across a certain tweet from a one Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX (and if you believe the stories, Dogecoin). You can see the tweet below:

Bitcoin is *not* my safe word

Now if you’re unsure as to what Musk means by the term ‘safe word’ you’re either too young or too innocent - just look it up. 

The tweet has done the rounds around crypto twitter with their being almost 36k likes on the post as of the time of writing. 

As you can probably tell with nearly everything that the SpaceX CEO tweets, the ‘comments’ section was riddled funny memes, but because it was a crypto-related tweet there were a few bots in there trying to promote false Bitcoin and Ethereum giveaways by frauding Musk’s name and position. 

Speaking of his name and position, you may have thought that a reaction from BTC might be on the table but as of the time of writing, the leading cryptocurrency is valued at $7,776 following a 2.05 per cent negative movement over the past 24 hours. This loss in price came after the leading currency surged earlier in the week past the $8k range, only to disappoint many investors but a day later and fall back into its current range of $7k.
