One of the most prominent faces in the crypto industry is the CEO of TRON Justin Sun who is well known for speaking his mind through his popular Twitter page. Now, Sun has shown his charitable side as he has offered a job to a former employee of BitTorrent who lost all of his life savings following the collapse of the QuadrigaCX exchange.
Tong Zhou has seemingly made a big mistake when he decided to keep all of his life savings in one exchange and when news reaches the TRON CEO, he decided to help him out.
Sun is among many of us who are shocked and saddened to hear to news of the former BitTorrent employee who out turned out to be one of the 115,000 customers of Quadriga CX. Now, Zhou once again has been given the opportunity to join the team at BitTorrent.
Tong Zhou was an ex-@BitTorrent employee and I am saddened by the news of the loss of his life savings in Quadriga CX's digital EX. I sympathize with his predicament and would like to hereby extend an offer to him to once again return to #BitTorrent. #TRON https://t.co/TFh41DWD77— Justin Sun (@justinsuntron) February 11, 2019
The software engineer recently moved to one of the most beautiful cities in the world (according to Forbes), Vancouver where he deposited all of his life savings ($422,000) to the Quadriga CX to transfer them to a Canadian Bank. Since the death of the exchange’s CEO Gerald Cotten, nobody is able to get into the funds. The exchange owes its customer more than 190 million with Zhou among one of the biggest affected clients.
Sun has said that the news has saddened him and that he is willing to give Zhou helping hand by offering him a job at BitTorrent. The move resonated several Twitter users who are praising the TRON CEO.
This is proof that there is some good in people and that members of the crypto community are able to give those in need a helping hand when they need it.
