Okay, we understand that cryptocurrency does not contain the word ‘Good’ however, it goes without saying that Ripple’s latest announcement is one that certainly does put the ‘good’ in crypto. Ripple for Good is the latest announcement from the Ripple team. Ripple for Good aims to focus on funding new projects within education and financial inclusion. Ripple for Good came as a result of around $80 million in funding donations, with an additional $25 million coming from Ripple directly. The aim is to make the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry more inclusive for everyone. As it stands, crypto is very much a rich man’s world, Ripple want to break this barrier and make cryptocurrency education and investment a more accessible place. According to the official Ripple announcement:

If we are truly committed to transformative global change, we will work to help ensure that innovations in banking and global payments are available everywhere to everyone, among unbanked and underbanked populations and in economies and economic sectors that serve the greater good. Our goal is to deliver on the promise of an Internet of Value for all.”
