Foxconn August Revenue Hits $29.2B as AI Server Demand Accelerates

Hon Hai Precision Industry, globally known as Foxconn, reported consolidated August 2026 sales of NT$921.77 billion (US$29.14 billion), up 51.98% from a year earlier.

August was the company’s strongest-ever August and its second-highest monthly sales result, trailing July’s NT$946.51 billion, according to Focus Taiwan / CNA.

August sales stay near July’s all-time high

August’s NT$921.77 billion total came below July’s NT$946.51 billion, which was the highest monthly sales figure in Hon Hai’s history at the time of the report. But the two comparisons measure different things: the 51.98% figure is August’s growth from a year earlier, while the July comparison places August against the immediately preceding month’s record absolute sales total.

For the first eight months of 2026, consolidated sales reached NT$6.51 trillion, up 39.73% from a year earlier. That January-August figure indicates the gain was not confined to the latest monthly result.

August also set a seasonal company record, surpassing all prior August readings. Its position just behind July makes it Hon Hai’s second-highest monthly sales outcome overall, based on the reported figures.

Cloud and networking growth tracks AI-server-rack demand

Cloud and networking was an area of strength in Hon Hai’s August sales update, with the company reporting significant year-on-year revenue growth for the division amid accelerating AI momentum. The supplied statement does not quantify the increase.

In the same company release, it projected high double-digit increases in cloud and networking revenue both on-quarter and on-year for the July-September 2026 period.

That is an outlook for a business division, not a forecast for consolidated group revenue, so it should not be read as a direct growth projection for total sales. Still, the company’s stated expectation provides a concrete benchmark for assessing whether the cloud and networking strength described in August carries through the quarter.
