ReserveBlock, an eco-friendly NFT and decentralized application blockchain network, has announced that its native token RBX has been listed on BitMart, the third major exchange to do so, following recent debuts on Bitrue and Deepcoin.
ReserveBlock is an up-and-coming, lightweight blockchain protocol built in the C# programming language that’s powered by a unique “proof-of-assurance” consensus algorithm. It uses extremely low energy compared to proof-of-work blockchains like Bitcoin, enabling “lightweight mining” that democratizes access. It’s therefore possible for anyone to mine RBX tokens using a laptop.
To mine RBX, users are required to stake a minimum of 1,000 RBX tokens in order to secure their status as a validator node and start participating in the network.
According to its founders, ReserveBlock is designed as an energy-friendly network for minting muti-asset NFTs, with its on-chain royalty enforcement capability. It also supports scalable and adaptable dApps, with features such as a domain name service, P2P media transfer, on-chain governance and wrapping and pairing of digital assets.
As for the RBX token, this is used to secure the decentralized ReserveBlock network and validate transactions via the PoA consensus, as well as facilitate transactions. With its listing on BitMart coming in the wake of its availability on Bitrue and Deepcoin, RBX can tap into a much wider, global audience and increase access to its ecosystem.
To generate further interest in its platform and token, ReserveBlock’s founders are hosting an AMA on Reddit to coincide with the listing, in addition to various competitions that can be found on BitMart’s website. It’s also planning to offer RBX staking in partnership with Bitart. The idea is that these events will help ReserveBlock’s growing community and those interested in joining it learn more about the use cases of RBX.
The listing on BitMart comes as ReserveBlock pushed out its first posting-listing core wallet update. With it, users can now benefit from over the air upgrades and an auto snapshot importer. Various “quality of life” features have also been introduced via the new update, ReserveBlock said.
