NFTs are now a multi-billion dollar industry. They rose to prominence in 2021 and the trend has been spectacular, with valuations breaking records. In fact, reports suggest that 2021 alone saw total NFT sales worth $25 billion while 2022 is set for bigger records. Yuga Labs, for example, is now the biggest NFT brand that has a standalone valuation of over $4 Billion with popular NFT collections like BAYC, CryptoPunks, and Meebits under its umbrella.

Interestingly, the expansion of NFTs is also driving the growth of play-to-earn (P2E) games. The rise of P2E post the rise of NFTs has been huge. Axie Infinity is a great example of a P2E game that managed to bag more than $3.5 Billion in NFT transactions. Moreover, the fact that the traditional gaming industry is also flipping into adopting the P2E Model to benefit gamers is also pushing NFTs and P2E to the next level.

NFTs and P2E are reshaping every sector with many good projects driving the transition.  And, one of the projects driving mass innovation is the Elite token. Elite, the project established by renowned Italian business giants Gianluca Vacchi and Mario Colabufo, is launching a spectacular P2E game dubbed Runiverse along with a unique NFT collection called Cryminals.com. It is building a gamified blockchain ecosystem to power its Web3 community.

Creating a Gamified Ecosystem with Runiverse and Cryminals.com

Elite is on a mission to create a crypto-verse where the Elite community can easily and enjoyably access the galaxy of blockchain technology and the services it offers. Their goal is to break down those barriers to entry that exist now for the average user and offer them a simple and effective way into the Web3 world. And, it is already making this a reality by building a crypto-system combining the mobile industry, influencers, NFTs, Metaverse, and Play2Earn.

The NFT project Runiverse is the first cross-metaverse gaming platform where gamers can challenge other players based on the performance of the crypto market. Users choose their favorite token from their wallet and challenge a friend (or a random opponent) to a thirty-second two-person race on some of the most famous locations in the metaverse. The goal with Runiverse is to create a gamified ecosystem to benefit the Elite community.

Cryminals.com NFT project to be introduced as a part of laying the foundation for their mission. It is a unique NFT collection with 11,111 unique characters registered on the blockchain. Each Cryminal is a code-string that includes the NFT naked character, the wallet containing the game’s currency in their pocket, and every single NFT garment they wear. Cryminals.com is an integration of Geo-Localisation, AR, 2D/3D graphics, Generative Art, DeFi, aimed at creating an extraordinary path for collectors, artists, Brands, Media, and Gamers.

Making Crypto Less Cryptic with NFTs and P2E

Designing a blockchain ecosystem does not have to include only complex DeFi and crypto algorithms. A strong blockchain system is one that incorporates all of the potential solutions that the technology has to offer. Elite's mission is also perfectly in line with the idea of providing a vibrant crypto ecosystem powered by a gamified model with NFTs and play-to-earn. Runiverse and Cryminals.com are the primary components of Elite’s ecosystem that it wants to build.

While NFTs and play-to-earn are trends currently taking the world by storm, the underlying technology is clearly here to stay. The potential of using NFTs in various real-world utilities and the monetary benefit P2E offers are valuable. Web3 is just the start of something revolutionary and Elite’s objective is to provide users an opportunity to be a part of this revolution with its flagship  Runiverse play-to-earn game Cryminals.com NFTs.
