FTX Trading Limited partners with power couple Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen

FTX Trading Limited has revealed their latest partnership, in the form of a celebrity partnership with power couple Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen. The long-term deal will see the American football player and model-turned-activist taking an equity stake in FTX Trading Limited and receiving crypto.

The press release underlined the ‘charitable aspect’ of this partnership, with Tom and Gisele committing to a multi-million dollar annual charitable contribution during the multi-year partnership.

Sam Bankman-Fried, CEO of FTX, commented on the partnership and what this would mean going forward:

After talking with Tom and Gisele on our shared interest in crypto, charity, and doing your best, I was excited for them to be a part of what we're building at FTX.  I'm excited to announce our long-term partnership and believe their support will be huge in helping us achieve our goals. The three of us have a shared passion for giving back in ways that are the most impactful. I look forward to working with both of them on growing the FTX brand alongside other exciting environmental, social, and charitable initiatives that we have planned together."

Here’s what Tom Brady had to say on the partnership with the crypto company:

Gisele Bündchen is set to be the Head of Environmental & Social Initiatives with FTX, and as such will be working on initiatives to reduce the carbon footprint of FTX, as well as driving forward equality and diversity within the company. 

The supermodel and activist commented on this particular aspect that attracted her to the partnership with FTX:

Sam and I are both enthusiasts who share a belief that we are on this earth for a greater reason, and that we all have a role in safeguarding our planet.
