Celsius Adds To Its Research And Development Team, Acquires MVP Workshop

Industry-leading cryptocurrency rewards-earning platform Celsius has announced that it has acquired a development division of the MVP Workshop startup studio. MVP workshop is based in Belgrade and is a leader in blockchain product development.

Celsius focuses on helping consumers around the world find financial independence through its compounding yield service and low-cost loans. These services and loans are available instantly through the web and mobile application. In addition, Celsius provides its users a platform where members have access to curated financial services unavailable to users of traditional financial institutions.

Belgrade-Based Development Center

Celsius and MVP have collaborated for over three years; this acquisition will see 50 MVP Workshop engineers and designers join Celsius and create a Belgrade-based product development center. This center will complement the research and development team based out of Tel Aviv.

The acquisition establishes the continued commitment of Celsius to invest and expand its technical capabilities and shows the trust placed in Celsius and its goals by the MVP Workshop team.

Identifying New Opportunities

Under the leadership of Nuke Goldstein, CTO of Celsius, and former CEO of MVP Workshop, and current manager of the Celsius Development Center Belgrade, Ivan Bjelajac, Celsius and MVP will identify new synergies and new opportunities.
