Hacken, an information security firm based in Kyiv, Ukraine, recently announced its partnership with Solana, a blockchain infrastructure developer. The partnership is intended to help accelerate the innovation and development of blockchain projects based in Ukraine.
Established in 2017, Hacken provides cybersecurity and privacy solutions to organizations and individuals. To date, the infosec firm provides security audits and threat intelligence services to other crypto and blockchain organizations such as Gate.io, One Ledger, VeChain, and crypto exchanges such as 1inch, Bithumb, and FTX.
“Hacken Foundation will contribute cybersecurity expertise to ensure the quality of the selected projects. We see big potential in Solana expansion in Ukraine and our region that is full of bright talents and innovative ideas,” shared Hacken CEO Dyma Budorin. “We see a wide range of opportunities to work with projects who are solving some of the most important problems,” the executive adds.
Hacken’s partnership with Solana will open the Hacken Foundation to strategic investments to build projects focused at decentralized finance (DeFi) and cybersecurity initiatives within the blockchain industry. Hacken’s expertise will assist in the technical development of Ukraine-based developers building on Solana’s open infrastructure. Solana’s Layer 1 proof-of-stake (PoS) protocol will help projects based in Ukraine to achieve decentralized scalability and security for Web 3 applications.
“Solana believes that emerging markets have infinite potential and we are dedicated to helping bring key projects and services in these regions to fruition,” shared Solana Foundation’s President, Anatoly Yakovenko.
Solana has also partnered with Gate.io, a crypto exchange based in China, Coin DCX, a Singapore-based company that specializes in crypto-enabled financial services; and BRZ, makers of the Brazilian Digital Token.
Hacken also operates CER.live as part of its suite of cybersecurity services. CER.live is a security assessment and analytics platform monitoring over 270 crypto exchanges globally, with an industry-recognized certification program.
CER.live currently serves as the data provider and security analytics servicing platform for Chainlink and CoinGecko, working with the latter to provide augmented verification of Trust Scores for various crypto exchanges listed on the CoinGecko database.
