Once again another extremely bullish forecast for the leading cryptocurrency has come to light. This comes in preparation for the bitcoin halving set to take place in May this year. For a while now, commentators on bitcoin have been very open about their thoughts on the flagship cryptocurrency and how it will form in the future. The new bullish forecast comes from the TV host Max Keiser, who recently revealed what is probably the most extreme prediction we’ve seen this year.
After recently taking part on the Infowars show, Keiser spoke with the host Alex Jones where he gave his prediction that the leading cryptocurrency would reach $400,000 sooner rather than later.
“I am officially raising my target for Bitcoin – and I first made this prediction when it was $1, I said this could go to $100,000 – I’m raising my official target for the first time in eight years, I’m raising it to $400,000.”
Keiser has had his fair share of time within the industry. A while ago, he made yet another wild prediction of $100,000 in bitcoin which was trading it at just $7,000. Just as it was then, his new prediction is still an interesting one to keep an eye on.
Given that the all-time high of the leading the cryptocurrency is $20,000, this makes it quite difficult to have faith in the TV hosts prediction - especially when it is been up and down above the $10,000 mark these past few weeks. Despite this, the TV host also said that his previous prediction was a little bit too cautious.
There are lots of bulls in the market now. One notable bull in the market is the CEO of Galaxy Digital, Mike Novogratz who recently said that the leading cryptocurrency could reach $20,000 once more. This is, of course, a little bit of a more realistic prediction for the cryptocurrency.
