The expansion of cannabis into a global industry has a far-reaching impact to improve the health of people from all walks of life so much so that the CannaTech annual flagship event in Tel Aviv from 1st to 3rd of April attracts experts from all over the world.
Tel Aviv is globally recognised as a hub of innovation and creativity, and with cutting-edge start-ups, at every corner, the beautiful seaside city is the perfect setting for industry titans, entrepreneurs and thought leaders to connect and network.
CannaTech offers a unique platform for speakers from every industry sector to promote and propel cannabis medicine into the future; its importance is evidenced by the internationally renowned panel of speakers with former Prime Minister of Israel Ehud Barak opening the event.
Also taking centre stage as one of the industry’s greatest minds and leader in global hemp and cannabis is Philip Gu, a close friend of Dragon co-founder Paul Moynan. Paul was injured during combat operations in Afghanistan while serving as a Royal Marines Commando, and they share a great passion for hemp and the application of it for treatments for veterans and other mainstream sectors.
Philip is the founder and CEO, Stemcell United Limited and the inventor of SCU’s Dendrobium Officinale orchid stem cell technology which only requires three months rather than usual 3-5 years to achieve marketable Dendrobium Officinale products. Philip has over 30 years of senior management experience including ten years working for the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations and has gained awards from the Fijian government for his innovative approaches to processing sea cucumbers, the technology later being adopted by Australia and New Zealand. Philip has a profound knowledge and well-established international network in Asia Pacific and has also worked with the Ministry for Primary Industries of Queensland Australia to formalise the management tools for Australian sea cucumber resources of Great Barrier Reef.
