14% Surge For TRON After Mainnet Upgrade Announcement

As we enter this new week, we see a 14% surge for TRON’s currency XRP as shown on CoinMarketCap. This came hours before the TRON founder, Justin Sun took to Twitter to announce that the platforms super representatives have reached a general agreement. That the TRON Virtual Machine is getting ready to launch. The virtual machine is an important step for the blockchain network as it will provide developers with the tools they need to create decentralised apps that read and execute a smart contract on the TRON network. Sun took to Twitter to say: “Based on community consensus, #TRON will be upgrading to Odyssey 3.1 at 8pm SGT. The TRON Committee function & TVM will go live, marking the start of the Smart Contract Era. TRON will be 200x faster vs. ETH, 100x cheaper vs. EOS. dApp developers & users, this one is for you! $TRX” Furthermore, in a recent interview with Sun, he said that he believes that TRX will be one of the top ten digital currencies by market cap within the next six months. Sun went on to say: “If we look at the top 10 cryptocurrencies, many of them are not motivated to continue innovating or improving their product. They represent the older generation of cryptos. TRON, on the other hand, is a young company with a current edge technology, with much more room for growth. We are confident that TRON will surge into the top 10 in the next six months.” TRON could very well enter the top ten cryptocurrencies as it is currently positioned at number 11 on the top 100 cryptocurrencies on CoinMarketCap and is priced at $0.027 after it’s 14% surge over the past 24 hours. Over the past few days, the total market capitalisation hasn’t been really exciting to watch. Currently set at $218 billion and up to half a percent than yesterday. In the past week, the markets have retracted around 2.7% however, things still seem rather bearish whereas the bulls could be getting ready to race. What are your thoughts?
