These Books Will Help With Bitcoin Investing
Whilst it is certainly possible to educate yourself on how to invest in cryptocurrencies by working your way through the plethora of online resources on the matter, there is so much conflicting information out there that it can be almost impossible to figure out where to start. Fortunately, there are more traditional ways to familiarise yourself with the fundamentals of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple and the like. Here are four books that should help you dip that first toe in the waters of digital currency. Cryptoassets: The Innovative Investor’s Guide to Bitcoin and Beyond by Chris Burniske and Jack Tatar Currently, the most popular book on the subject, the Kindle, hardcover and audiobook editions of this Bitcoin investment guide have each made the top 10 on Amazon’s list of altcoin titles. It covers all the basics, as well as offering strategies for your digital portfolio. Digital Gold: Bitcoin and the Inside Story of the Misfits and Millionaires Trying to Reinvent Money by Nathaniel Popper This book is less an investment guide as it is a combined history lesson and a cautionary tale about the volatility of Bitcoin. It covers the meteoric rise of Bitcoin, its recent peak and sudden trough, and also offers some sensible investing advice along the way. Ethereum: Blockchains, Digital Assets, Smart Contracts, Decentralized Autonomous Organizations by Henning Diedrich Of course, not all investors will plump immediately for Bitcoin. This hefty tome offers some excellent investment guidance for those who wish to get involved in Ethereum instead. Mastering Bitcoin: Programming the Open Blockchain by Andreas M. Antonopoulos While this book can certainly be used by non-computing types, it goes into some detail about all the technical ins-and-outs of various digital currencies and is probably aimed at the kind of would-be investor who has a burning desire to understand the inner workings of the new digital commodities. While no book can hope to be definitive in an industry that changes and adapts so quickly as cryptocurrency does, these four should provide you with a solid foundation from which to start investing.
