What exactly is Pangolin Exchange?

Pangolin is a decentralized exchange (DEX) that operates across multiple chains on the Avalanche Network. It provides users with advanced tools, ample liquidity, and an easy onboarding process, delivering seamless swapping capabilities and an excellent experience for both projects and traders.

Could you explain the PNG token?

The PNG token is the platform’s native governance token, empowering the community to take full control over the product's development. The token distribution model is entirely community-focused, with all tokens allocated directly to the community, bypassing allocations to advisors, investors, or insiders.

How many PNG tokens are currently in existence?

The total supply of PNG tokens is capped at 230 million. Of these, 83% are designated to incentivize Liquidity Providers on Pangolin. These tokens are distributed daily to providers until emissions conclude in October 2024.

Holders of the PNG token have the option to stake their tokens and receive a portion of the protocol's revenue. A 0.0425% fee from all trades is directed to the PNG staking pool via regular token buybacks. This mechanism allows stakers to earn APR on their PNG without experiencing impermanent loss.
