When joining the Socios.com platform, club partners, yet to be declared, launch what is called a Fan Token Offering (FTO). Fans are required to buy $CHZ through a cryptocurrency exchange to obtain Fan Tokens. These tokens, linked to a specific team or club, are limited digital assets that offer access to a secured ledger for voting and membership rights ownership.

Fan Tokens are created on a permissioned sidechain that is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, known as Chiliz Chain. Currently, the Chiliz Chain does not impose any transaction fees, allowing for quick and cost-effective transfer and receipt of Fan Tokens.
