Gods Unchained

Gods Unchained is a tactical card game that's free to play, allowing players to truly own their in-game items. Helmed by the former game director of Magic The Gathering: Arena, the game emphasizes competitive play. Players need to outsmart their opponents through strategic deck-building to counter a variety of tactics. With complete ownership of their digital items, players have the freedom to trade, sell, or use their cards as they wish, much like owning physical cards.

GODS is an ERC-20 token that serves as the premium currency within the GU ecosystem. This token can be used in several ways:

* Minting NFTs.
* Engaging in marketplace transactions and making in-game purchases.
* Distributed as rewards to players.

The total supply of GODS tokens is capped at 500 million. These tokens are divided among player incentives, the development team, and a public sale.

Chris Clay (Game Director of Gods Unchained): Formerly the Game Director for Magic: The Gathering Arena (MTGA), where he contributed to its growth from a modest eight-figure revenue to $200 million annually. Chris has been an avid gamer since childhood, first beating his dad at Pong and later excelling in Space Invaders on the Atari 2600. His passion for gaming evolved into competitive play with the Quake mod Thunderwalker CTF and creative projects in mapping and modding for Quake 2's Team 3. This love for creation led him to Turbine Inc. in 2000, where he worked for 15 years on MMOs like Asheron’s Call 1&2 and Lord of the Rings Online, eventually becoming a Game Systems Designer focusing on combat. Before joining the Immutable team as Game Director for Gods Unchained, he spent three years at Wizards of the Coast, working on Magic the Gathering: Arena as a Principal Designer and later as Game Director. Chris is passionate about creating new economies that empower gamers and communities through NFTs.

James Ferguson (Co-Founder) Forbes 30 Under 30: James led a software development team at a billion-dollar eCommerce company. He has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of Sydney. He taught himself coding using the MIT curriculum online and moved to Silicon Valley in 2014. Alongside his brother Robbie, he has built several businesses, including an eCommerce platform that used machine learning to optimize conversion rates and a cryptocurrency arbitrage trading and lending fund. After becoming involved with Ethereum in 2015, they ventured further into blockchain, creating the world's first multiplayer blockchain game, the first blockchain TCG, and the first zk-rollup for NFTs.

Robbie Ferguson (Co-Founder) Forbes 30 Under 30, Thiel Fellow: Robbie previously developed an automated capital gains tax platform at KPMG, which was licensed to Australia's largest cryptocurrency exchange. Enthralled by Ethereum since 2015, he left his Computer Science/Law studies at the University of Sydney to start Immutable. He received the Thiel Fellowship in 2020. Robbie envisions future generations living extensively in virtual reality and aims to ensure that these digital environments offer economic significance comparable to the physical world.
