Information about "EthereumPoW"
What Exactly is ETHPoW (ETHW)?
EthereumPoW (ETHW) is a hard fork that emerged from the Ethereum blockchain during the Ethereum Merge. During this event, Ethereum shifted to a proof-of-stake mechanism, while the forked version, ETHPoW, continued using the proof-of-work system.

Who Started ETHPoW?
EthereumPoW is backed by an international community of individuals who favor the proof-of-work model over proof-of-stake, or who simply wish to keep both systems available to developers and users on Ethereum.
What Sets ETHPoW Apart?
EthereumPoW replicated the state of Ethereum at the specific block height when the Merge occurred. This enables developers of decentralized applications and stablecoin providers to decide which Ethereum network they wish to support, or even replicate their app states, effectively doubling the available DApps and liquidity from Ethereum to EthereumPoW.

How Many ETHPoW (ETHW) Coins Are Currently in Circulation?
When ETHW initially split from the Ethereum blockchain, it began with a circulating supply identical to that of proof-of-stake Ethereum. However, since the ETH 2.0 staking contract, identified as 0x00000000219ab540356cBB839Cbe05303d7705Fa, only permits deposits, the staked ETH cannot be retrieved on EthereumPoW. This results in a decrease of 13,712,994 in the circulating supply of ETHW.
How is the ETHPoW Network Protected?
ETHPoW continues to rely on the same proof-of-work system that the Ethereum mainnet used prior to the Merge. The planned difficulty bomb has been entirely eliminated, enabling ETHPoW to be mined indefinitely.
Where is ETHPoW (ETHW) Available for Purchase?
ETHW is available for trading on most major cryptocurrency exchanges.
