QANplatform Announces 5-minute Cloud Deployment Feature In Upcoming Testnet Release

QANplatform, a quantum-resistant hybrid blockchain platform, announced on September 28 a rapid cloud deployment feature that will be part of its upcoming testnet scheduled for Q4, 2021. According to the press release, this feature will enable developers to deploy QAN’s private blockchain across various cloud platforms within five minutes.

Some cloud platforms where developers can deploy QAN’s private blockchain include Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Linode or Digital Ocean. Notably, the deployment time is 80% less than installing other blockchains such as Ethereum, Algorand or Polkadot.

With cloud computing and blockchain gaining momentum, QAN’s team is optimistic that the quantum-resistant hybrid blockchain will solve significant challenges in both industries. The firm’s Co-Founder and CTO Johann Polecsak was keen to highlight that QAN not only solves underlying security issues but also lowers the barriers to entry for smart contract developers,

“Quantum-resistant security is our main USP, but on top of that we do address the problems of today. QAN takes one step back and focuses on lowering the entry barrier for the developer community, so startups and enterprises can build their Proof-of-Concepts (PoC) and Minimum Viable Products (MVP) as fast as possible to reach mass adoption. “

Developers will get a first-hand experience of QAN’s 5-minute cloud deployment feature once the testnet is launched later in the year. Meanwhile, interested smart contract developers can pre-register for the testnet waitlist in preparation for its debut.

It is also noteworthy that QAN features other prominent functions within its hybrid blockchain platform, including open-source code, quantum-resistant security, integrations, a unique consensus algorithm, high-volume transactions and multi-language development.

Commenting on the milestone, Polecsak added that QAN’s integrations and multi-language development fix the issue of blockchain mass adoption,

“QAN blockchain platform solves this issue by building integrations to existing and widely used and loved programming languages (Rust, Go), DevOps technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Cloud Platforms like Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure.”
