According to a local news outlet, the founder had been previously indicted by the United States Department of Justice over a cryptocurrency scam worth more than $700 million. 

On the 15th of June, Medlin was arrested by Jakarta authorities for engaging in illegal activities with underage girls.

A police representative spoke to the media outlets in regards to the matter saying that the alleged offender has been in police custody since the 15th of June and revealed that the authorities have been in talks with the FBI as they await an extradition request from the American embassy.

Chief Cmr. Yusri Yunus, the representative for the police, said that the authorities had become suspicious of the founders of residence when they were tipped off that mine is between the ages of 15 to 17 frequently visited his home.

If found guilty, Medlin could be facing up to 15 years in prison under the country's 2014 law on children protection. But there is still a possibility that he could be sentenced in the United States as both Indonesia and the US have swapped fugitives in the past and could potentially happen again.
